Community Service
The Oronoco Fire Department was established in 1971 as a service for approximately 700 residents. Today, it services an estimated 933 residents and now has a staff of 22 members.
The Fire Department serves the City of Oronoco and is on call at any time for mutual aid assistance for the residents of Oronoco Township. The Oronoco First Responders have a staff of 30 members and serve as first response for any medical calls for residents of both the City of Oronoco and Oronoco Township.
Every member on our rescue team puts in many hours each month for training, maintenance, meetings, responding to emergencies, fundraising and many other events to provide you with the most up-to-date proper care when you call upon us. Although we are volunteer departments, we always have people prepared to serve 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We are here to serve YOU.
